It’s Friday! Just Got Paid? Ya’ll Boycotting Retail Spending or Nah?

Today is No-Buy Day where folks are refusing to buy retail for 24 hours in protest of the new regime’s and corporate’s rollbacks of DEI policies and programs. I been pulled all the way back on frivolous spending and am strict about sticking to my weekly/monthly budgets so I guess you could say I’m locked in, anyway.

I understand that Al Sharpton, who I do not fw at all, and his NAN organization will announce companies they will boycott later this spring. I won’t be paying this one no mind because most of his initiatives are self-serving and only benefit/line his pockets.

I do think there needs to be a sustained, nationwide boycott of non-essential products and services SOON! The only language these corporates speak and understand is MONEYese. And since our government only works to serve the interests of corporate (instead of We, the People), maybe they will bend to the will of the people once corporate goes whining to Washington that nobody’s buying their shit. –AGBY
